10:30 – 12:00 Rotating 30 minute tabletop workshops designed to be interactive — 10 minutes of information sharing and then 20 minutes of Q&A/discussion and brainstorming
Financial: How do you manage the money and fulfill all the regulatory requirements? What is a treasurer’s role and duties? What are the filing schedules? How do you report donations?
Messaging/marketing: Learn how to create your master narrative, develop talking points and answer questionnaires. Develop a plan for addressing challenger positions (or not). Create a proactive campaign – what materials do you need? What about consultants? What should you budget for marketing?
Cultivating Resources: Getting all the volunteers, money and endorsements you’ll need to win depends on what you’re running for and whether it’s a district or county-wide seat. Insiders share how to get a committee working for you to collect all the resources you’ll need to win.
Campaigning 101: And then there’s the myriad of details, calendars, information and data you’ll need to know. Everything from how to reach voters, who to ask for help, keeping a campaign calendar (for forums, deadlines etc) where to get materials printed to pro tips on donation envelopes, signs etc. Come learn the hacks needed to run and win.
