The Voter Suppression team is interested in revealing the many obstacles that government has put into effect in this country to keep people from voting. To this end we compiled a report on Crosscheck, Kris Kobach, and the President’s Voter Integrity Commission (now defunct).
We have spread our information on Crosscheck to representatives of Indivisible in the 27 states where the Crosscheck software is used. The ACLU has an online map that lists for each state, the laws that have been put into effect (i.e. voter i.d) to make it difficult for people to vote. They don’t list the more subtle obstacles, such as decreasing the hours of and the number of voting places in low-income neighborhoods.
Currently, we are concentrating our efforts on taking back the House of Representatives, and so are knocking on doors and having conversations in districts that have the potential to be flipped from red to blue.
