Bridge Brigades | Success and More to Come (Please Volunteer!)

The following is a note from Charles McIntyre, the coordinator of the Bridge Brigades.

All-

Thank you for making a super positive and excellent bridge brigade last Friday!

It went off like clockwork and the signs were super visible.  Thank you for showing up early and getting the job done!

Here’s a comment from a driver:

Dear Indivisible Friends,

I want you to know  how very proud I felt to see your signs over the freeway last week when I was S-bound on Hwy 1.
I loved them both, and totally agree, “Protect Mueller!!”
Please take a vacation from horrific news and read the front page of the SJ Merc News today.
All items are progressive and positive!! At least in this state, things seem to be moving forward.
Farmworkers have enjoyed three big wins this summer: getting rid of the 50-mile reg. in the state’s migrant camps, the banning of chlorpyrifos, and the $289 million award to the groundsman dying of non-Hodgkins lymphoma due to his repeated use of RoundUp (glyphosate).  The elimination of these two awful chemicals from the lives of FWs is sure to extend their life expectancy beyond 49 years!!
Keep up the terrific work; I’m there with you all the way!!

SUPER CRITICAL:  We have THREE more brigades leading up to the November midterms, encouraging folks to vote and volunteer.  The next Brigade is Friday, September 7th 3pm-5pm.  We want to try to fly banners on three bridges, so we need everyone to contact friends, neighbors and family to come out.

The Banners will say:

  • Branciforte: Take Back Congress
  • Morrissey: Recruiting Progressive Volunteers; Saturday 1pm @ SC Civic Center
  • La Fonda: We Are Indivisible

NOW IS THE TIME TO SHOW UP!  NOW IS THE TIME FOR KINDNESS, LOVE AND ACTION!

Please sign up for the next brigade and bring 2 more people!!!
